Tour of Arthur Foss

June 22, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Come tour the Arthur Foss, one of the oldest (if not oldest) wooden tugboat currently afloat in the world. It was built in 1889, and served in the Klondike Gold Rush and World War II. We will also be receiving a tour of the Light Ship LV83. The wharf has other historical vessels to see as well.

We are going to meet aboard the Arthur Foss which is located on the north side of the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI).

Tickets are limited, register on EventBrite. Children are welcome to attend, but beware the hazards below.

Hazard Warning: wet/greasy docks/decks. We would recommend shoes with good traction over your Sunday’s Best.

Parking is limited so carpooling or public transportation is highly recommended. The Arthur Foss is located on the north side of the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. Parking is available in a pay lot at 1010 Valley Street, Seattle WA 98109. Street parking is available along Valley Street, between Fairview and Westlake. There are also pay lots to the east near Daniel’s Broiler, Chandler’s Cove, etc.
